They can also draw things, cut it out and glue it to the construction paper. Following the hockey example, they could draw a hockey stick, cut it out and glue it to the collage. It’s a fun little exercise that you can constantly change and play with. Bring out some macaronni and they can glue this to the page. It’s really fun stuff. Building Things Any activity that has a child building things, they’re using that logical side of their brain and exercising it. This is really an important thing that you need to keep them doing. The best thing that you can get for such activities is to use popcycle sticks. These things are great and you can build practically anything with it. There are many things you can build. Things like a house can be a relatively simple thing to do or something simple. It is important to have something built to show them, so they have an idea of what you’re talking about.
